Her name, Rio De Fuego which means River of Fire, is exceptionally suitable. Nelly has a firey spirit and shows it in the big white sandbox! This mare has the fire in her step boasting the traditional high engagement that is jaw dropping. She is fire in the arena, and takes home the High Point. She is currently trained and had showed to Second Level, schooling third level.
Show Records have since been lost due to a horse fire Spring of 2021, but "Nelly" has been successful in Dressage picking up many High Points and Championships with Emma aboard. Competing at the 2018 BC Summer Games in Cowichan Valley, "Nelly" and Emma took home Gold for their division. She has a very cute jump with scope! In August 2021 Bulkley Valley Exhibition in Smithers, BC - Nelly and Emma took home Champion in Halter and Dressage High Point, being the most recent.
